These General Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases of products through the Hadjikyriakos & Sons e-commerce site.

Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases of products through the Hadjikyriakos & Sons e-commerce site and to all information, documents, graphics, films, music and/or other services displayed within it.

Drawings, depictions, images, prices, pattern collections, details, technical data, dimension and performance descriptions shown on the Hadjikyriakos & Sons e-commerce site are non-binding and subject to change. We reserve the right to product changes or replacements.

For optimum use of the site, and for the smooth running of the shopping cart and payment procedures, please set your browser to allow both cookies and pop-ups.

Contractual conclusion and withdrawal

By presenting our goods, we invite you to submit your request in the form of a purchase order. On accepting your offer, we will send you a purchase confirmation by email within one hour. Likewise, we will inform you by return email if we are unable to accept your order.

If, despite acceptance of your order, the goods are ultimately not available, we have the right to withdraw from the agreement. In that event we will inform you promptly and, if you have already paid, reimburse you in full immediately. All accepted order quantities apply to standard household quantities.

Online sale of our goods may only be performed within the free areas of the Republic of Cyprus. Any mistakes in product pricing or description do not bind the company to accept your order.

Delivery and shipping

Online sale and shipping of our goods via our e-commerce site may only be performed within the free areas of the Republic of Cyprus. You can receive your order either via courier or by collecting it yourself from a store of your preference.

• Pick-up from a Hadjikyriakos & Sons store — completely free. Order processing time is 2 to 48 working hours. Please wait for a call from one of our representatives confirming your order is ready for collection before visiting the store.
• Home delivery — your order is shipped to your door by ACS Courier and reaches you in 2–3 days, free of charge (excluding TVs).

Orders placed before 11.59pm are shipped on the next working day between 9am and 6pm. The courier will call you before delivery. Two delivery zones are available: Zone A (09:00 – 12:30) and Zone B (15:00 – 18:00).

We deliver to most post codes in the Republic of Cyprus. For more remote addresses, ACS Courier will contact you to collect your item from one of its 20 local collection centres; home deliveries cannot be carried out to these remote areas. A slight delay in shipping might occur during the Christmas, Easter and summer periods. All information on delivery periods is provided without obligation.

Installation charges

If the goods to be delivered require installation and technical skills, our warehouse will contact you directly to arrange a mutually convenient time. In that case only, deliveries are made using our own means and an installation fee is charged.

• TV sets and home entertainment — installation costs €46 VAT included (price excludes shipping charge).
• Air-conditioning units — installation is not included in the selling price; the cost varies with the complexity of the installation (price excludes shipping charge).
• White goods (washing machines, dishwashers, fridges, freezers, dryers, ovens, hobs, etc.) — installation is not included in the selling price; the cost varies with the complexity of the installation. See the installation price list.

Free recycling

For most products we can take away your old appliance when we deliver your new one. This service is completely free.

Payment

Prices include VAT. Payment may be made with a valid Mastercard or Visa credit card, processed by JCC Payment Systems Ltd. The goods remain our property and are not dispatched before payment has been received in full.

Reservation of title

Hadjikyriakos & Sons reserves title to the purchased product until final settlement of the amount in the delivery agreement.

Defect warranty and liability

The guarantee period for products purchased through the Hadjikyriakos e-commerce site is 24 months. In the event of a guarantee claim, the products must be presented directly to Hadjikyriakos & Sons. Any costs of returning goods are borne by the customer.

The guarantee covers all defects that appear during the guarantee period, insofar as they are demonstrably attributable to poor material or defective manufacture. At the seller’s discretion, liability is limited to repair, replacement or reimbursement of the invoice amount of the defective goods. Further claims by the buyer are excluded.

In particular, Hadjikyriakos & Sons is not liable for faults or damage attributable to accidents, neglect, misuse, improper installation or use, natural wear, or for damage that does not arise in the delivered item itself (consequential harm caused by a defect). Any modifications or repairs performed without our consent or the written consent of the manufacturer, as well as failure to adhere to these General Terms and Conditions, void the warranty.

Data protection

All personal data is handled confidentially. The data required to settle the business transaction is stored and forwarded to affiliated companies only within the framework of settling the order. See our Privacy Policy.
