LG Appliances

Fourteen appliances: eight refrigerators and freezers, four washing machines, one hybrid dryer, and the S3MFC Styler garment care cabinet. Cooling and laundry are the focus, so LG televisions, air conditioning, and audio are not part of this particular range.

AI DD weighs the load and reads fabric softness, then selects a washing motion from several patterns rather than applying one agitation style to everything. Direct Drive means the motor connects straight to the drum without a belt, which reduces noise, vibration, and long-term wear.

The S3MFC is a cabinet that refreshes clothing using steam and gentle movement, relaxing creases and reducing odours without a full wash. It suits suits, coats, and delicate items that dry cleaning would otherwise handle. Nothing is submerged, so garments last considerably longer between proper launderings.

Hybrid models combine heat pump efficiency with a conventional element, giving faster cycles than a pure heat pump while consuming far less than vented drying. The RC90V9AV2W takes this approach. Running costs matter in Cyprus, so the compromise suits households drying several loads weekly.

Side by side cabinets split vertically, giving tall narrow compartments and easy eye-level access to both sections, which suits wide kitchens. Top-freezer designs place a smaller freezer above the fridge, cost less, occupy a narrower footprint, and remain the practical choice for most apartments.

Thor denotes tall single-door cabinets roughly 186 cm high and 59.5 cm wide, sold as separate fridge and freezer units in matte black steel. Pairing two side by side creates a large-capacity column look without the width of a traditional American-style appliance.

The GSLV70PZTE plumbs into mains supply, producing chilled water and ice continuously with no reservoir to refill. A suitable feed must reach the installation point, so check plumbing access first. Households that get through a lot of cold water in summer notice the difference immediately.

Roughly eight kilograms of dry cotton, which is about a full drum of everyday laundry for a family of three or four, or a double duvet. Larger 10 kg drums suit bigger households and bulky bedding. Overloading harms wash quality and strains bearings.

Inverter motors and compressors adjust output to demand rather than cycling fully on and off, which lowers consumption and noise together. Ratings still run A through G under current labelling, so compare the specific model. Summer ambient heat pushes refrigeration harder in Cyprus than in northern Europe.

Each appliance carries full manufacturer cover valid on the island, registered at purchase, with inverter motors and compressors frequently guaranteed for longer than the appliance as a whole. Service is arranged through Hadjikyriakos, and repairs use genuine components.

Direct Drive laundry and inverter compressors both reduce sound noticeably compared with belt-driven or fixed-speed designs. Washing machines typically sit in the low fifties during a wash, rising through the spin. Anyone with a kitchen open to living space should check the decibel figure carefully.

Yes, and it matters more than most people expect. An unlevel machine walks across the floor during spin, damaging itself and whatever it hits. Adjust the feet until no rocking remains, then tighten the locknuts. Remove transit bolts before the first cycle without exception.

Vacuum the condenser area annually, wipe door seals monthly, and check that gaskets still grip a sheet of paper when the door closes. Leave clearance for airflow at the back and above. Perished seals waste more energy than almost any other single fault.

Hadjikyriakos showrooms in Nicosia, Limassol, and Paphos hold refrigeration and laundry on display, and the online store carries identical stock with fast and free island-wide delivery. Serving the island since 1886, our staff advise on capacity, dimensions, and installation.
